Fiduciary Team


Gary Beagle is the Executive Fiduciary for Beagle & Associates. Gary is certified as a National Master Guardian with the Center for Guardianship Certification, a Washington State Certified Professional Guardian and an Oregon Certified Professional Fiduciary. Gary is also licensed in the State of California. Gary has served as President, Immediate Past President, Treasurer and Board Member for the Center for Guardianship Certification, and serves on the Professional Guardianship Board for the state of Washington in which he is Chair of the Education Committee. Prior to his position with Beagle and Associates, he was a Vice President with US Bank, NA. He was awarded the 2004 Master Guardian Star Achievement Award by the Center for Guardianship Certification, and assisted in the Development of the mandatory training course required by Certified Professional Guardians in the state of Washington. Gary speaks nationally and internationally on Guardianship topics and holds a Bachelor of Science from West Texas A&M. Gary was inducted into the West Texas A&M Communications Hall of Fame in 2014.



Sheila Keen is a qualified Fiduciary with expertise in managing multiple financial accounts and more than 25 years experience in the credit union industry as a Compliance Officer, Collections Manager, Loan Officer, Visa Coordinator and Member Services Manager. Ms. Keen holds an Associates of Applied Science degree from Lower Columbia College.



Melissa Schlager has 19 years of case management experience in various medical and long term care settings including Skilled & Intermediate Care, Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation, Oncology/Radiology, Long Term Acute Care (LTAC), Hospice, and as a Senior Person Centered Fiduciary representing legal appointment through the judicial system. She is actively involved in networking throughout the greater Portland metro area including OMCMG-Oregon Medical Case Management Group & SPIN-Senior Provider Information Network. Ms. Schlager holds a Bachelors degree in Social Work from Abilene Christian University, Abilene Texas.



Nick Alexander is an attorney in Clark County where he has developed and cultivated relationships with many other attorneys and clients in the community. Prior to joining Beagle & Associates he was an associate attorney for the law firm of Greenen & Greenen where he successfully advocated on behalf of his clients. He sits on the boards of the Clark County Volunteer Lawyers Program and the Young Lawyers Section of the Clark County Bar. Nick is a graduate of Evergreen State College and Willamette University College of Law.



Raina Rivas has more than 13 years experience assisting diverse clients in a variety of healthcare settings, serving as Social Services coordinator in a Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility and as an In Home Care coordinator. Raina has experience navigating and providing information regarding Veteran’s benefits and Medicaid services in the state of Washington. Ms. Rivas received an Associates Degree in Human Services from Kaplan University.
