Maximum Cost-Containment

Pooled Trusts

Pooled Trusts are strictly a service offered by Beagle and Associates of Washington

As a nonprofit corporation, Beagle and Associates of Washington maintains the Beagle Burke and Associates of Washington Master Pooled Asset Special Needs Trust. This trust provides trust services to disabled individuals. As a cost-containment measure, funds are held in a pooled account but are administered individually.

The flat monthly fee was implemented for clients whose requests were minimal and the cost of administration could be covered by the flat fee. Some clients have benefited from this flat, monthly fee due to the frequency and reasonableness of requests. Other clients have elected to request additional services, which have resulted in added costs of administration.

In order for B&A WA to maintain the level of service that its clients both deserve and have come to expect, the following service levels will be implemented for each client in order to maintain the flat, monthly fee:

B&A WA will accept two phone calls per month to address client requests and inquiries.
B&A WA will respond to two requests for funds per month.

All requests for funds must be submitted in writing utilizing a Distribution Request Form.

Clients who exceed two calls and/or funds requests will be subject to additional fees in accordance with the B&A WA fee schedule and paid monthly.

Clients who utilize Person Centered or Client Services Coordinator services will be at standard rates and paid monthly.
